Maire Brennan
Maire Brennan (Clannad) has just released her solo album, Whisper To The Wild Water. Featured on the album is a duet with her mother and an introduction by her son. Work is also commencing on Maire's autobiography and she is touring America during November.

Corrs Unplugged
Dundalk family, The Corrs will be releasing an unplugged album during November. This acoustic album will rework all their popular songs and a live version of No Frontiers is promised.

B*Witched Disappointment
Jesse Hold On didn't quite manage to hit the number one position in the UK charts and the girls promptly sacked their manager Kim Glover. B*Witched held onto the no. 4 spot, shattering hopes for their fifth no. 1 in a row.
Their second album is now available in the shops.

Life After Riverdance
Jean Butler has joined forces with Colin Dunne (also ex-Riverdance) to create a new dance show based on ancient Irish legends. Entitled Dancing on Dangerous Ground, it will premier at the Theatre Royal in London at the end of November. Jean also made her film debut recently with her performance in The Brylcream Boys.
